Praise & Prayer Update

Dear friends,

We are so grateful that you’re journeying with us. Ani Philippines is still young, but by God’s grace we’re steadily laying the foundation for proper stewardship of our mission and vision. As we move forward together, here are a few praise items and requests for prayer:

1. Office & Team

We’re thankful that Ani Philippines has been able to maintain the same office as Mindanao Equipping Program here at Tulip Drive, Matina, Davao City (beside Café Julieta, if you’re in the area!).

Even better than a good location is the gift of people. The Lord has provided team members in each department. Pray that each team member may walk in wisdom and humility, stewarding their roles with excellence and joy.

One last update, for those of you who know Praise from Ani’s predecessor, Mindanao Equipping Program: Praise and her family have decided that she will be a full-time mom to care for their growing children and to support her husband’s ministry. She has our full support, and we ask you to join us in upholding them through prayer.

We’re laying the foundation for our grants work. Policies and procedures are in the works, and we hope to finish these by the end of the 3rd Quarter 2025. By early 2026, we’ll run a pilot grants cycle. Would you please join us in asking the Lord for discernment and wisdom?

For those curious about Ani’s grants requirements, we invite you to our Non-profit Basics seminar (see details below).

3. Care & Equipping

Our heart for leaders and ministry workers continues. This year, we’re reviewing MEP’s Care and Equipping initiatives so Ani can launch its own program by the end of 2025. We ask again for your prayers for wisdom as we complete the program design.

With that, MEP’s regular NGO retreat will not be held this year. There will be a few small retreats for Sacred Harvest grantees in the remainder of the year.

In the meantime, CTE Coaching continues for MEP partners. For those who have been part of our coaching, please keep posted for our next sessions.

This November 11, we’ll also gather in San Francisco, Agusan del Sur for our Non-profit Basics seminar—a one-day event on Biblical Stewardship and compliance for Christian NGOs and ministries. Please pray that the Lord would prepare hearts and minds for this gathering.

4. Cultivating Generosity

We rejoice over the Journey and Joy of Generosity workshop we hosted last August with the facilitation of Generous Living Global. About 50 participants joined, and we’re still grateful for the ripple effects of that time together.

Looking ahead, we’re preparing to launch Ani’s broader Generosity program in March 2026. Pray with us that it will bless many and spark a movement of Gospel-based giving.

We continue to encourage you to stay connected through our Facebook page. We share encouraging stories from the communities of our partners, short devotions from partner pastors, and hold fun giveaways.

If your organization or ministry has a story that you would like to be featured on Ani Philippines’ Facebook page, please reach out to our Communications team via yuri@ani.net.ph.

Thank you for standing with us in prayer and through friendship. May we continue towards our vision of seeing God’s shalom taking root and flourishing across the Philippines.

We offer you these words from Paul in Colossians 2:6-7 as an encouragement: “Just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”

With gratitude,

The Ani Philippines Team
